I've been living with this a few years now, and use it every day, on wood floors. It's excellent for removing most (dry, small) stuff from the floor.However, it's important to keep the cleaner in good condition for it to be useful, it's easy to kill its performance. Here's what I do, and it works well.1. Only use it with the optional cyclonic attachment, and empty this very frequently. If you're watching and marvelling at the stuff rotating in the container, you're reducing the suction: you're losing energy in the airflow that could be used in lifting detritus, to move the stuff in the container around.2. I use this with a 3Ah battery, and no less than two bars charged. This keeps the motor turning at top speed for better suction.3. Buy a spare cloth filter. Fine dust which escapes the cyclone chokes the filter quickly and reduces suction.4. When suction drops, stop hoovering to avoid choking the pipes.I have a spare clean filter and battery. Every time I swap the battery (about 50% discharged), I change the filter, check the pipes, and empty the cyclone container.If I don't do this, the hoover gets choked, the suction decreases, it heats choked more, and it just gets worse.It's excellent for day to day use - hair, rice crispies, coffee, crumbs etc. on a hardwood floor, if maintained as above. Absolutely hopeless on a deep pile tufted rug. I break out the monster corded Shark for that.I probably use it about ten times as often as the Shark. It's not designed to replace that, but as a 'little and often' vacuum, which it excels at. Plenty hard-wearing, and standing up well over a few years.Don't buy if you're trying to clean a building site, or expect it to replace a big corded hoover. Do buy if you want to clean up quickly after children and pets, and like the Makita advantage (quality tools, and at least as important, high quality and readily available batteries).Be realistic: it's running from an 18V battery and is not designed to be hoovering up plaster dust. At least, not for very long.

Avendo altri prodotti Makita a batteria 18 V ho deciso di acquistare questa scopa elettrica a cui abbinare le mie batterie Makita 18 volt 5 Ah. Ho scelto questo modello perchè è il più potente della gamma. Purtroppo ho acquistato a parte l'accessorio ciclonico che, invece, era già compreso nella fornitura, per cui il prezzo dell'apparecchio era ancora più conveniente. Ad una prima ispezione visiva l'apparecchio appare ben fatto e rifinito e le plastiche appaiono di qualità. Per quanto riguarda l'utilizzo l'apparecchio è abbastanza potente, molto leggero, poco ingombrante ed ben equilibrato nonostante la batteria da 5 Ah che ho montato e che consente una autonomia nell'uso continuo di 20-30 minuti. La potenza di aspirazione può essere regolata su tre livelli e la spazzola ruota in tutte le direzioni consentendo la pulizia in punti particolarmente angusti. Molto utile l'accessorio ciclonico che permette di non sporcare il filtro, mantenendo costante la potenza di aspirazione ed è facilmente svuotabile; inoltre, essendo trasparente, permette la visualizzazione diretta del riempimento del contenitore. Per concludere ne consiglio l'acquisto ha chi ha bisogno di una scopa elettrica leggera e potente, soprattutto se già possiede batteria e caricabatteria Makita.

Super aspirateur puisant

Sehr starker Staubsauger.Wir verwenden ihn eigentlich nur im Haus als Handstaubsauger und auch auf die Herkömmliche Art. Er ist für beides Super geeignet und durch den typischen 18V wechselbaren Makita Akku sehr kraftvoll. Mit der Zeit wird er als Habdstaubsauger durch den großen Akku schwer. Durch die hohe Leistung ist dieser Mangel aber zu vernachlässigen.Wir können diesen Staubsauger somit auch sehr guten Gewissens für Tätigkeiten Außerhalb der Baustelle oder Werkstatt empfehlen.
