Another great tool by makita!Easier to grip than my old one . Trigger switch makes for better safety as the machine will turn off automatically if you let go of it. Brushless motor is always a plus. Best angle grinder I have had so far.A bit pricey but compared to the cheaper models it is worth the extra money....you get what you pay for in this case!....let's see how long it lasts. My old grinder ( the first makita battery powered model) lasted about 7 or 8 years of heavy use.

This is my second one, first one crapped out .... sounded like a rattle can. Since I needed it I bought another one right away. First one turned out to be a self destructing "sealed" bearing. Makita was very helpful, wanted around $50 plus shipping for theirs, but also recommended I try..... guess what? AMAZON!! AND, even gave me the bearing number! $12 for TWO bearings!! After a few weeks of procrastination I took the old one apart, replaced the bearing and now have TWO Makita cordless angle grinders but even better this new one is a variable speed. Yep, I'm a happy camper! Yeay Amazon!!
