Eccellente bordatore Makita, solido e al contempo leggero e maneggevole, già alla minima velocità ha una potenza di taglio più che sufficiente per erbacce anche molto fitte, se servisse poi sono incluse nel pacco anche una testa con lame in plastica e una lama in metallo. Con due batterie da 5Ah ho lavorato per una mezz'ora e avevo ancora circa il 25% di carica residua.

Matériel fidèle à la réputation de la marque. Légère, peu bruyante, relativement puissante, travail efficace réalisé avec pour "défricher" un jardin où les herbes avaient pris beaucoup de hauteur. Petit bémol, ça reste de l'électroportatif et (comme une tronçonneuse Makita dont j'ai fait l'acquisition il y a quelques temps) l'autonomie des batteries restent un peu limitée : à peine 20mn de coupe avec deux batteries (la machine fonctionne par paire) chargées à fond. Idem avec mon second lot de batteries et une machine que j'ai fait fonctionner au plus petit régime. Dans les deux cas, j'utilisais le fil de coupe (je n'ai pas encore essayé les 2 autres outils fournis : lames de coupe).

As I was looking for a battery strimmer and already have 18 v Makita batteries it made sense to buy the same make.This twin 18 v version is probably as powerful as a small 2 stroke strimmer.It came with three heads, the normal cord with a ‘tap’ feed. A three bladed nylon knife headAnd a two blade metal head for heavy brush.It has three speeds but I’ve found it works well for most normal use on the lowest, which gives a longer battery life. I was clearing weeds for at least 40 minutes on 4ah batteries without the need to charge or change them.Two batteries means it’s not the lightest machine, in fact I’m not sure it’s saves any weight over a petrol version but you don’t have the faf of mixing two stroke oil or any starting issues. It also has a shoulder strap which helps with strain and fatigue.This is good quality and does a very good job.
