This is such a lovely idea and I’m glad to see that it’s available on Amazon. The book is called “Mom, I want to hear your story”. I don’t call my mum mom and I’m sure most people in the UK don’t either so that’s a bit of a shame. There are a few spelling errors in the book that are hard to ignore and this lets it down somewhat. Overall, it’s a good way to get my mum talking about all the things I have and haven’t ever asked about. A lovely thing to keep and hand down.

Absolutely lovely gift. The prompts are thoughtful and meaningful, helping to spark memories and stories that might otherwise be forgotten. Beautifully made with a soft leather-style cover. Highly recommended.

This journal would make a lovely gift for any mother to pass back to her son/daughter. The prompts can encourage deep conversations and preserve memories for years to come. Such a great idea.

Amazing 😍I think this is a great idea and an amazing gift.The book is well made and looks really nice.The whole concept is amazing.How much do we really know about our parents and sometimes we never find out.This book means that you can really get to know what your parents are like , what they have been through and it's an amazing keep sake for a lost parent later in life so you can pass on that knowledge to your children.It's slightly annoying that it's Mom rather than Mum but still it's great.The pages all have quotes or prompts/questions with space so they can write Thier own life story.Amazing idea and well worth the £9.99.

As someone who cares deeply about family and where we come from i thought this would be the perfect gift, however unfortunately i was left quite disappointed. The concept of the "mum i want to hear your story" is fantastic with really good, thought provoking questions etc., however it is riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes and some of the questions don't even make sense. Some questions that require a long answer have just one or two lines to write whilst other short answer questions have pages to write your thoughts down. I feel like this was written by someone who just wanted to make a quick buck rather than someone who cares about the finished product.I hope you found my review helpful :)
