Passt perfekt und ist bequem

My other half has been looking for a pair of shoes for walking especially daily walks with the dog. We couldn't find a lightweight pair, that were comfy that looked like they may last. He didn't want a pair which look like walking shoes. These have been the perfect fit!

Good water resistance, impact resistance is good, sole is nothing to brag about, it wears out fast, you feel gravel rocks through it, grip is not good in slippery or icy conditions (everyday non-hiking use), it feels like the shoe itself squeezes my toes too close together. Top of shoe also gets dirty fast, it's not possible to clean it's pores adequately. Insole is good on beginning but also wears too fast. Previous more colour neutral women's version gtx shoes were much better both in durability and looks and comfort.

First of all, I don't recommend softshell shoes, they are too flexible, I wear Mammut size 43(1/3), and this softshell model was too big and I returned it. Amazon has delivered these shoes to other people, I know how a shoe that comes out of a Mammut factory should be packaged.Returning to Amazon is a real nightmare, the package has been stuck in DHL Romania for over 10 days, while Amazon is using my money, I don't know how long this transport will take, probably a month, this is a big joke to customers.

Insgesamt ein sehr guter Schuh. Ich hstte schon die Vorgängermodelle seit Jahren gekauft und war sehr zufrieden.Diesen Schuh muss ich 1 1/2 Nummern größer bestellen.Einen Stern Abzug gibt es weil der Schuh nun im vorderen Bereich deutlich weiter ausfällt als die Vorgänger und damit nicht mehr ganz so ideal passt.Technisch ist der Schuh einwandfrei. Robust, wasserfest, pflegeleicht (überlebt auch regelmäßige Durchgänge in der Waschmaschine), griffig auf jedem Untergrund egal ob nass oder trocken. Ich trage den Schuh vom Strand bis ins hohe Gebirge bei Tagestouren.
