The metal is heavy duty and needs to be fastened to a straight edge be it wooden batton or stone wall. The hooks are heavier than I expected so they should last a long time. If space is tight you need to be aware of the height of the lowest hook whether wall or ceiling mounted. I am pleased with the quality and price but the accessories which are separate items i.e. the Expansion Set with Metal Chains are expensive and for this bracket three sets need to be purchased. Space needs to be allowed for the Expansion fittings at either side of the Triple Hooks.I have recently bought this item and have yet to use it.
