Hubby has been looking out for a compression vest for a while, so I ordered this one, which on the face of it seemed good value compared to others available. I ordered a size L, as he was on the very low end of the L sizing, but he said it was very snug and tricky to put on. I did point out it was a compression vest and therefore supposed to be a bit snug, but if he reported this when he’s on the low end of the sizing, then maybe they run a bit small..? Anyway, he’ll wear it, and it was a good price.

This is a compression garment designed to shape a man's physique. I ordered the biggest size XXL and I was not disappointed. At first it did seem like it was going to be small however it stretched to size. This vest is designed to provide support and create a more streamlined silhouette under clothing. This vest is very comfortable to wear, I have worn this under suits and shirts as well as during gym and badminton sessions. Overall I’m super impressed with this compression vest.

For under £8 it's not a bad compression vest actually. I've felt better quality overall but they've had a higher price tag of around £15+.When you get it, as with all compression stuff, you'd swear it's too small, but that's kind of the point. You wear these things to offer some support or when you need something with a really tight fit. I know some folk wear them to offer a slimmed down appearance too. I can't really attest to how well it would work for that purpose, but as a tight fitting undergarment I quite like it.It has a fair degree of compression as the material has a lot of elasticity to it. It's somewhat thick too, given what it is. I've felt much thinner materials, but if I'm honest I've also felt a bit thicker too.I'm giving it four out of five stars because when you review an item you have to take into account the price too. This is not a premium compression top in terms of quality or price. I do genuinely think it's worth the £8 though when you check out the competition. I tend to wear stuff like this only on the odd occasion every now and then. It's usually if I have to wear something very formal, a dress-shirt for instance, and I don't want my undergarments to show at all for the evening. I do always wear something as a base layer, next to my skin, underneath my outer clothing. It's very rare for me to just wear a single layer. In those circumstances a compression top acts like an invisible layer. I'd happily wear this one for that purpose.

This compression vest is a bit of a mixed bag. While it definitely gives you that "cinched in" feeling and a smoother look, be prepared for a seriously tight fit that can be a struggle to get on. It's discreet in white, but don't expect miracles – it's more of a subtle shape-up than a transformation. It does the job, but it's not the most comfortable "secret weapon" out there.

So on the description it says that this vest tightens your waist fat and reshapes your curves.Absolute rubbish. So I usually wear XL t shirts,s o opted for the large as I am sure I read you get the size below waht you normally wear.The vest was a bit of a pain to put on. Once it was one, it did absolutely nothing to my shape. I suppose it did flatten my moobs, but that is all. Done nothing to the fat elsewhere on my body. I wasn't looking for miracles. I know it can't take a 15 stone middle aged bloke and make me look like I am 6 stone wet through. But it done absolutely nothing.To be honest, it was a pain putting it on and almost felt like I had to be cut out of it when I was taking it off. I would say, save your money.
