I don't know why this isn't a standard part of the sprayer wand, but this is a good addition to the Solo 475 Comfort backpack sprayer. Although the internal pump regulates the spray pressure well, the output will drop off if the tank pressure falls below the regulator setting. The pressure gauge allows me to constantly monitory the output pressure and ensures a uniform application of insecticide, herbicide, or fertilizer.
