Ik was toe aan een nieuwe cd speler die past bij mijn receiver. Deze Marantz cd speler is een Award winner en dat is terecht. Mijn cd's klinken super en ook het afspelen van een USB stick is simpel. De cd speler ondersteunt meerdere audio formaten. Het is een hoogwaardige cd speler die niet teleursteld en digitaal aansluiten is ook mogelijk. Gebruik wel een goede coaxiale of toslink kabel Amazon heeft zeer goede kabels in het assortiment. Kortom gebruik je al Marantz en je wilt combineren dan is dit je kans. Amazon levert snel en tegen een zeer goede prijs.

I was able to compare this one to my 26 years old Philips CDR 760 CD player.I am sorry to say, but this is the first and the last time that I bought Marantz. After trying first a Marantz amplifier that produces the same bad sound, now this CD player gives exactly the same dull sound.For people who don't know better, yes, the Marantz sound might seem "warm", "vinyl" maybe, but far from being the rich, crystal clear CD sound.Definitely not for audiophiles: I am not a "professional" listener but my husband who is a musician holds the same opinion.

Got this to replace a quirky Audiolab 7000cdt and this is better in every way.Listened to them back to back through the same DAC and sonically there is abdolutely no difference. This is better built and more user friendly.Negatives: Display is small and basic. Only accepts 32gig memory via usb so you'll have to segment your collection.

I am an old school audiophile. I still listen to Vinyls and have huge collection of Vinyl and Music CD’s. I continue to buy CDs even today whenever I get a rare album.I have a Yamaha 5 CD changer CDC 775. It’s now giving problems as the lens is now on the verge of dying. So I was looking for a pure CD player with very little added features. And some how I wasn’t convinced with DVD or a Blu Ray player catering to my music CD needs.Marantz CD6007 is like a tank. It’s heavy, it’s big and it’s robust. In very limited options at mid budget, Marantz CD6007 is a perfect player. It has got a minimalist design and bare minimum buttons in the front. The CD reading speed is quite fast and playback is done in a jiffy. It has a pretty decent remote too.The sound reproduction is extremely high end. Even on a MP3 CD the quality is not very much compromised. I haven’t used the USB but I am expecting it to be as smooth as other operations.With CD’s and CD players becoming rare and limited, I am so glad to have procured this high end and extremely versatile CD player.PS : With my Yamaha amplifier the bass is quite high with this CD player and treble is pretty low. Hence I’ve put a pre amp to manage the balances. Now the output is many notches up. Strongly recommended if you are looking for no nonsense dedicated CD player for your Music CDs.

I purchased this CD player from Amazon for three main reasons:1. It's a 2024 top performer in its price/performance category,2. I've been a loyal Marantz fan since the 20th century, and3. Amazon offered a great price with free delivery.I connected the unit to the analogue input of my NR1200, expecting its internal DAC to outperform the one in the receiver—and it did not disappoint. The sound is remarkably clear and detailed, even with the default settings. I’m hearing nuances in my music that I hadn’t noticed before. I’m looking forward to exploring the settings further.A quick note on support: The remote control that came with the unit was faulty. Amazon’s support team handled it brilliantly—they refunded me so I could purchase a replacement. Naturally, I ordered the new remote from Amazon again.That’s all for now—I’m off to enjoy more listening time!

Voilà un extraordinaire lecteur cd qui a de suite pris en charge mon ampli du siècle dernier et a redonné un son fabuleux à ma chaîne ! Inutile de changer l'ampli ni les grandes enceintes .... je suis sidéré le son est carrément upscalé ! Chapeau Marantz ....
