I purchased these fins for a trip to Cuba, snorkeling is one of my favorite activities to do and I was in the water several times with these fins, both straight from the beach and from boats.Pros: They are very easy to put on and adjust, I could easily put them on in the water if I wanted to or they were compact enough to be able to walk in them for a few steps if I wanted to jump off the boat with them on. They easily fit in my suitcase and are very light so did not use up as much of my luggage allowance as larger flippers would.It was very easy to move in the water with them, they seemed to have the right combination of flexibility and stiffness in the right places and I was able to swim much deeper and faster with them than when I went barefoot.Cons: This one isn't really the flippers fault, I had got a sore part on the top of my foot from my sandals rubbing and this took a while to heal because I went in the water everyday and unfortunately it was in the right spot for the flippers to rub it so I couldn't use them for several days of my holiday. Like I have mentioned this wasn't the flippers fault but in the future I will take some diving socks to wear in conjunction with them if the problem happens again as this will probably stop the slight bit of friction. It's more a precaution for other holiday makers!

Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sehr gut und durch die Einstellbänder an jede Situation einstellbar. Ich verwende sie mit Mares Füßlingen. Aber auch ohne Füßlinge sind diese Flossen kein Problem.Der Einsatzzweck ist bei mir Schnorcheln, leichtes Tauchen und Ausdauerschwimmen. Mit den Flossen ist man sehr agil. Der Vortrieb könnte etwas besser sein - dies ist aber größtenteils der kompakten Größe geschuldet (die Flossen sind sehr kompakt und passen in einen durchschnittlichen (Männer-)Koffer bei Flugreisen).Größe: Ich habe Schuhgröße EU 45 - mir passen die Flossen in Größe L optimal, trotz etwas breiter geformten Fuß.Manche berichten, dass die Feststellbänder nerven. Ich kann das von mir nicht berichten. Kürzen würde ich die Bänder ohnehin nicht, da sich am Ende eine Fingeröse befindet, welche man sehr gut auch mit einem Handschuh benützen kann. Die Feststellbänder sind ohnehin eine Eigenart von Geräteflossen, an die man sich schnell gewöhnt. Der Verschlussmechanismus ist ausreichend schwergängig, damit sich die Feststellbänder nicht mit der Zeit lockern, aber ausreichend leicht genug, um die Flossen leicht an-/ und wieder auszuziehen.Fazit: Der Gelegenheitsschnorchler kann hier nicht viel falsch machen. Profis suchen sowieso in anderen Kategorien.
