Finally, there’s Marillion transcriptions in standard notation and tablature, for both guitar and bass!I was eager to get my grubby mitts on a physical copy of Clutching At Straws, and I wasn’t disappointed. The transcriptions are clear and accurate for every song on the album, including Slainte Mhath, which probably by mistake was left off the front and back cover; fear not it’s in there.There are no lyrics included in the book possibly due to copyright, but that’s for singers anyway.The titles in The Strings Of Marillion full album series are growing, with Script, and Misplaced Childhood due early 2024 according to David Rambeau, which will compliment Fugazi, Seasons End, Holidays In Eden, and of course this one, all of which are available now.In conclusion, this book is a great resource for anyone wanting to play Marillion songs, so buy it!

The Bass and Guitar parts in this book are very accurate. The slight downside to this book (and the reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating) is that it is short on vocal cues or timings, which can sometimes make it a little tedious to locate specific parts.
