Hay que lavarla antes de colocarla. Cubre el fondo de un acuario pequeño, aunque pensaba que la bolsa sería más grande, ideal para tapar las bases de las plantas artificiales. Para mi gusto mucho limpia que el sustrato o la arena, pero yo descartaría plantas naturales.Lo cantos redondeados son perfectos para que los peces que les gusta merodear por el fondo no acaben arañados

Positives:I bought it for my fish tank because it has a great natural colour for the bottom and it is pourous natural rock, which helps with the bacterial water purifying cycle.Negatives:Smaller package than it sounds like.It says "prewashed" on the package, but it still has a good bit of dust on it so you still need to rinse it in a strainer first. One of my packs actually had a cigarette filter mixed in with it, so make sure you check for odd things just incase.

Using in terrariums. You have to rinse it off (dirt and small pieces of shredded plastic) other than that it's great
