These are good strings at a very good price. Remember with any string, even new strings, to take a cotton sock and briskly wipe the strings top to bottom until you take off black tarnish on the cotton. Do this after playing and the strings will get brighter and warmer as you play them. It also polishes the metal and you get less string noise.

Put the strings on my mandolins,they seem to stay in tune longer,very pleased with the sound also.
