Mattel Jurassic World Hammond Collection Brachiosaurus figuur, 60 cm

While I normally collect Carnivorous Dinosaurs, I've wanted a Brachiosaurus for a very long time. There have been figures and models out there of Brachiosaurus, but they just weren't good enough to buy. To me, the long neck Dinos really don't have much going for them as figures sadly. Then they came out with this one. The large size is nice, but what caught my attention was that face. The face is beautiful! It looks just like the Jurassic Park Brachiosaurus on the first movie. It's so gentle and soft in appearance. For me, it just works on this Dinosaur. The gigantic size is a bonus. I love finding large Dinosaurs. Most of the models and figures out there (before Jurassic Park/World started making huge ones) were just so tiny. If I'm going to pay a lot of money, I want my figures to be big. This one is huge and it has lovely details. The neck is a softer material so you can turn and pose it, but it still blends well with the harder body. I choose not to bend the neck at all because I just don't want to risk it not going back to the way it looks now, so I can't say how well that part of the figure works. She stands tall in my Dinosaur living room, just spending her day looking beautiful and friendly. I named her Baylene after my favorite Brachiosaurus. This is the only long neck in my collection, so you know how lovely this figure is.

La aplicación de pintura, aunque sencilla, resalta bien las texturas y detalles, dándole un acabado realista y de alta calidad.Si bien hay pequeños detalles mejorables, como la articulación del cuello algo limitada y algunas inconsistencias en la pintura, la ejecución general de esta figura es sobresaliente. Es una pieza imprescindible para cualquier fan y coleccionista de Jurassic Park, una figura que sin duda eleva cualquier colección.
