Maypole – geïsoleerde watercarrier opbergtas

💧 I got hold of this insulating cover because I wanted to keep the sun off my 40-litre Aqua Roll in the summer months to reduce the likelihood of unwanted growth. I always clean the tank regularly, but this will be some additional insurance. I use my water carrier with a side entry, and so this cover was particularly attractive since the Velcro went up the side and I could form the seam around the inlet.💧 I like that it has a darker blue side for the winter, although I don’t use my caravan in that season but am more interested in the silvered side, which is a bigger selling point for me. This lighter colour is not completely reflective, so it has a degree of fire safety for the surrounding grass compared to using something like reflective foil. The base is detachable for insulation against the ground, and although it's relatively thin, it's better than nothing. I recommend standing the water carrier on supports to be clear of direct ground contact.💧 The seams, base, and water pipe all have Velcro seals and seams, and everything can come apart for a clean if required. Only time will tell if it is effective, but so far, I am very happy with it. It does get warm on the outside in full sun, but its cooler inside. I put an additional layer of foil bubble wrap right against the tank for extra insulation, and this bag fits fine over the top. It doesn’t completely keep the water out, and the only disadvantage is that you might get some bugs taking up residence if you put the carrier back into the caravan after each use. I therefore recommend it only for extended use in situ or where you will keep the water carrier outside of the caravan when not in use. You can always take the cover off, and it all comes apart quite simply. ✔️

The product fits fine but could do with an access hole for when connected to a full service pitch and a supply hose is connected to the side of the drum.

Perfect for it's purpose. I wrapped my small emersion heater on my camper and it's protected it really well.
