I have protective shell casing for a few different laptops models and am very satisfied with this one. The fit is snug and secure, better than another brand's case on my MacBook Air. I never have to worry about this thing coming off.Laptop cooling has not been an issue at all and the integrated feet even help to improve it, however, my Dell XPS 9440 uses integrated Intel graphics, so if your model has the dedicated Nvidia GPU, the results might be different due to the increased heat.I work a lot with computers and it's like a breath of freah air when something actually functions well. Very satisfied with the purchase of this case and would recommend it to others too.

At first I saw no issues and it offered a slight amount of protection to the exterior, but after using it, it caused more damage then it does protecting it, I recommend getting a laptop sleeve for when traveling instead, and keeping it on a secure place when in use or charging, this is a cheap product with cheap quality I don’t recommend buying it. It also traps dust underneath the case leading to a build up over time. As seen in the image while the damage is minimal it’s in a sensitive area next to the hinge and is completely preventable, with new laptops having smaller bezels, it’s critical that damage is reduced as much as possible around the LCD, and this case does the exact opposite.

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I purchased my XPS 14 back in August, and this case around October. I kept sitting on the purchase due to how many negative reviews there are about it. I have no qualms! I tend to be clumsy and I was so afraid of damaging my laptop or putting any stickers on it, but now with the case on, I have no more worries. I also really love the built in stand! I purchased my own as I used it with my old laptop, but the case is so protective and nifty that it makes me look forward to using my laptop so much. If you bought an XPS 14 in 2024, you're fine to purchase this case because it fits great!
