The size is big enough that I can lay out patterns for larger pieces without needing to patch anything together, which helps keep the surface looking clean after paint. Speaking of which, the white matte finish is great for priming and painting—it grabs spray paint evenly and doesn’t soak up as much as other foams I’ve worked with.I’ve also layered it inside some boot armor for padding, and it’s been comfortable without adding bulk. It’s definitely more than just crafting foam—it’s designed for builds that need to last and actually look sharp up close.
