Item looks as displayed in the photo, however the foam percussion mallet will not create a clear sound (regardless of what is struck). Very dull sound and the mallet head is loose. No clear reason why they refuse to return. Ordered Nov. 7 and didn't arrive until Dec. 18th.

As a hand drummer, the djembe and cajon, this adds some variation to the sound and adds precision, if wanted, when you find a particular spot on the drum that's pleasing.
