What I loved instantly about this shaker is how you could produce radically different sounds simply by holding it differently. It took no time at all for me to learn how to go back and forth between a high pitched rattle to a bass rumble. If you're looking for a shaker that could add real depth to your percussion accompaniment, here it is!

Am so happy this is something made in the EU! It’s lovely. I bought for my baby but her hands are a bit small. She loves listening to me use it and sing a nursery rhyme. Can we get a wood egg shaker (safe for babies no lacquer etc) made in Germany or EU? Please!We need safe things made of natural materials for babies. Sorry I got sidetracked but yes. I love this shaker and am happy with it. Exactly as described. Gorgeous wood instrument. I’m going to enjoy using it and entertaining her with it.
