this is the second vacuum sealer ive bought - the first one broke on the second use. i was getting ready to pay a lot more for a vacuum sealer when I came upon this one.COMPARISON WITH THE FIRST UNIT I BOUGHT:The first one was actually more expensive despite lacking features that this one has - like the automatic motor controlled drop down part.First one, the entire unit would open to get the bag in place, then required pushing down on a handle to fully seal the bag. Sometimes just pushing down the lid would cause the handle to enter the closed position - causing a jam. On this one, the 'closing' is fully automated and activated by motors that drop down on their own, effectively preventing any mistakes.The first one didnt have physical buttons like this one does - it had cheap little press buttons with a sticker placed on top. Right out of the box, the sticker was bubbling and peeling off. This one has actual physical dedicated buttons, which feel and look great.On the first one, the rolls would nest inside the unit, which exposed it to contaminants. On this one, the unit never gets opened keeping the inside clean.One the first one, the rolls would go inside the unit, requiring it to be opened just to get at the rolls. On this one, the roll has a dedicated compartment outside the unit.The cutter one the first one was basically a thin 1.5cm bracket that felt cheap and could bend easily. On this one, the cutter is integrated into the lid for the rolls - a solid piece that isn't nearly as flimsy.The first one was made entirely of plastic and felt cheap AF. This one has a stainless steel body, looks and feels premium.CONCLUSION:This is the best vacuum sealer for the money. Its feature rich, built well, and reliable. Its safe for beginners to use, and eliminates user through intelligent design.

A have-to-have if you freeze foods, especially now. I delayed buying a vacuum sealer and would be reminded of it every time I had to throw food from the freezer away -- try as I might to package it for future use. As always, I researched a number of models and decided on the Mesliese. I wanted to use it a number of times for a variety of foods before preparing a review. I am impressed with the sealer's quality and sturdiness and how it functions as it claims to do. The speed at which it moves is probably standard but thorough. The suction power is significant and provides for a compressed, airtight seal. I saw one reviewer who couldn't manage the built-in cutter. I'm not sure what that was about -- it slides, and it cuts the plastic. I would purchase this again and I'm providing a photo that's a great example of a food I tried to package myself in the past and ended up throwing it away, covered with frost.

Should have been 5 star if the voltage input is designed for GCC and Asian Countries. It needs a step-up transformer in order to use it. Quality is no doubt the best and for sure would last for years.

This vacuum machine is easy to operate.It is designed with a unique bag storage box. It comes with 2 rolls of vacuum bags in the box.It has various functions. The machine has dry, wet, and seal modes. It is not very noisy when in use, which is acceptable. The exterior is made of metal and is of good quality. It also has a 5-year warranty, which is great!

Well what can I say, I've had 4 sealers over the years, 2 good one's and 2 bad ones, the 2 bad ones were a certain french make, both only lasted a year but they were cheap 🫤, so I decided to pay more and hope it was money well spent. So firstly out of the box, if you can call a kitchen appliance pleasing on the eye, then this is for you, it looks really nice and sturdy, it's made of stainless steel with a nice black trim. So what's it like ?, i read all of the reviews for most of the sealers on my list and all had a small amount of negative one's, now you can't be positive if you get a faulty machine, but I'm convinced some people are just not experienced with sealers so give up and give a negative review. Hopefully we all read the instructions but as a long time user, sometimes you shouldn't follow them religiously, i wouldn't dream of telling anyone how to suck eggs as they say, I have done 12 seals over the last few days with zero fails, this machine to me is a dream to use, firstly it's automatic, which means you don't have to squeeze the top of the machine hard downwards to to lock it, I'm convinced it leads to reducing the life of the product, you just push it in the front and press the button, if you have problems, I suggest don't skimp on the bag, hold the bag on each side and pull the bag outwards,push it in against the buffers,, if you push to far the seal can become distorted hence failure, so once inserted pull the bag back about a 1/4 inch then press go, works great for me. The bag cutter is great so easy to use, but if you have problems like I did on my old machine, I suggest putting a small amount of pressure on the cutter, I worked great on my old machine, but this one works great. A great idea is the removable sealer tray, no more trying to get spillage out of the tray with kitchen towel, just slip it out, run under the tap and replace. Lastly, a lot of people said the machine was noisy, not really, I've had 4 already and this one is the quietest. So at present I can highly recommend this product, with its 5 year warranty, o yes people said you have to use their bags and rolls, wrong I've used 2 different makes, not theirs and they work great. Not much else I can say, let's just hope it doesn't break down, it's in the lap of the sealer God's 🤣
