I want to give an update on this product. I have had it for just over 7 months, and for anyone considering if this may be a good product, it is! It works great. Very easy to use. Just plug it in, and it takes seconds to vacuum out all air, and seal any foods. I use it for so many foods, waffles, perogies, fish, ground beef (can buy bulk!), and many more. It has eliminated any waste, no freezer burns on anything. I just wanted to assure anyone thinking about it, and wondering if it is any good, that this is a good choice. I shopped around first and this one had very good reviews, and I see why. Also, rolls of plastic for bagging come with it, and more can be purchased on Amazon at a reasonable price (they go a long way if conservative).

I tried different settings on this machine and I am very impressed with it's performance. It is very fast as some other users have mentioned, but I was most impressed with the gentle mode as it preserves perfectly food that might be delicate and brittle. It is also very well built and looks classy with the stainless steel cover.
