Provided in nicely presented packaging with decent protection, this jig is made from a robust and beautifully finished aluminium and offers very good build quality. It comes with a short but useful printed instruction manual that explains the basic uses for the tool. The jig has a threaded clamp that works fine to hold wood in place (though can take a while to screw on/off and adjust for varying timber sizes) and the sliding depth adjustment is accurate and features both cm and inch measurements; a very nice touch that makes working in imperial and metric dimensions that bit easier.The set I received only came with one HSS drill bit (not two as described and shown in the manual) but the carbon steel bit burrows its way through pine and beech without tearing. The jig does an ok job of clearing sawdust but I've found it very necessary to quite frequently back off and draw the drill bit out to help clear the throat and stop the drill bit from overheating. The jig is easy to use on the go, or it can be screwed to a workbench or sheet of wood that makes supporting and working with larger sheets of timber an easier process.I haven't screwed it down and like that it's easily portable, and I've been impressed with the accuracy during use. The included plastic hole plugs are not something I'd use or recommend (they look cheap and I prefer to use wooden plugs to fill my pocket holes), but the included pocket hole screws work fine and the elongated screw driver bit does its job well too.Overall it's a nice little pocket hole set that works very nicely, and it's well worth a look when suitably priced. If it had been supplied with 2 HSS drill bits it would have earned the full five stars.

An all metal pocket screw jig with a hole angle of 15 degrees. The jig works on wood 12 to 45mm thick. The 15 degree angled holes drilled are the best angle to connect the pieces together.It has metric as well as imperial for anyone in the states to be able to drill the necessary holes for the dowels and screws.Well designed, all metal, strong, durable, and has a wide range of accessories to suit every possible job task.
