The hinge pins are flimsy and come loose. If you try to put them back, you stretch the spring so it won’t work any more.

In preparation for our wedding reception we needed a supply of salt and pepper pots for COVID mitigation. These are small and handy size. The lids can be a bit temperamental, but then these are low price. We bought six pairs they work well... and, as it happened, the government cancelled our wedding reception at short notice... but we had a smaller bubble meal and they proved their worth. They are small enough to pack up and take on picnics, and refillable which is good.
