My kitten plays hard and needed somethings to fill her curiosity and keep her intelligence and paws moving. She absolutely loves it. I didn't think she would be interested in a plastic ring with a ball. This took maybe five minutes to put together. It is very durable. My kitten pushes the balls and chases them around the circle. She was originally scared of the bell. Now she attacks the feather. With the feather being on a springs she attacks it, pins it down, then chases it as it springs back up. She plays with the swing balls as well. I originally thought I was not sure I wanted to spend that much. It was definitely worth it! I would like to thank the maker for putting out such a useful toy for a curious playful kitten.

My 3 year old cat loves the scratching post but has not played with the little balls, she could care less about them. I know the jute on any kind of scratching post isn't going to last and that is true with this scratching post. She has 2 different scratching post and I've replaced the jute on it a year ago and looks like I will need to replace it on this scratching post.

I bought this for my month old kitten and at first he was a little too small but he quickly started to be interested with it and has become one of his favorite toys - I’ve had it for about 6 months and it’s still in great shape and he loves to use the scratching post daily. It’s a little pricey but for the wood details and quality I think it makes a good looking cat toy for around your house or room.

First this came in a crushed up box taped like crazy inside of an amazon bag. I took everything out, and there were no instructions. I went to the amazon page and found instructions, but they use letters to identify different parts but they don't tell you which letter goes to which part. It wasn't too hard to figure out but still it's a bit annoying. So I got beyond that, got it assembled and was putting the rope ball toys on, and as I was pulling nice and tight to my cats wouldn't pull them off, the rope with knot in place pulled through the ball. Now I have skills and supplies so I used super glue to make the last two inches of the rope stiff, and stuck it back through the ball, cutting that off and tying. I then used a hot glue gun to glue the rope in place and wrapped the rope around a few times keeping it in place with my glue. I did the same glueing the knot and wrapping it around with hot glue on the other ball.The thing is, this would be a really awesome toy for kittens or 1/2 sized adult cats, but it stands about 12" or not quite as tall as either of my medium sized adult cats stand on all fours. The cat in the picture (a little over weight but only by about 3 lbs) is an 18 lb tabby laying next to the toy and the toy is probably 1/2 his height if he were standing up on his back legs as cats tend to do when they are playing. Very tiny, but aside from being small it is a cute, sturdy little thing and would be great for kittens.
