MHW-3BOMBER Uiterst dun 0.2mm Espresso Puck Scherm FG7051-OS

I love these puck screens and accessory set. The quality of the puck screens are really good. The fit well in my vst baskets used with the Bambino Plus. They’re ultra thin and takes up no extra space in the basket. They seem to help with water distribution as I get consistently good shots with them. The black one seems more porous though I don’t notice a difference with shot time or water flow. For sure they at least help with keeping the group head clean. I prefer them both over the mesh ones because they’re easier to clean and dry. The silicone storage is perfect, has enough space for 3 screens and is the silicone is very soft. The magnet works well most of the time. If I don’t remove the screen right away and let it sit it gets too stuck for the magnet. Otherwise it’s a fairly strong magnet. I’ve tried to use kitchen magnets before and never had any luck. The set is a tad bit on the pricier side but well worth it for everything you get.

Works great! I'm using the disc that is bonded to another disk because I have some space to fill.The picture shows two puck screens because I already had the smaller disc.The stand is very handy, as is the magnet to assist in lifting the puck out of the basket.To get the whole kit is a lot more economical than buying them individually.The thinness is the main value, especially when the basket is filled completely with coffee grinds.The discs fit the 54mm portafilter basket perfectly with barely enough room to spare.The taste of the coffee isn't as much of an advantage as keeping the espresso machine clean. I found that, when I use the screen, I don't need to run the machine through its cleaning cycle.

To start, I'm a big fan of MHW-3BOMBER products. I love my Bomber spring-loaded tampers and bottomless portafilter. But this set is underwhelming.The 0.2mm screen is not great. I think it's just too thin to do what a puck screen is primarily designed to do: help even out extraction and keep the shower screen clean. I have had to pry this thin screen off the shower screen of my BBP several times, and it often leaves coffee grounds on and around the shower screen. I've never had this issue with any of my other screens.The silicone stand thing is just okay, I don't really use it (I have a nice walnut wood stand for my puck screens).I will say I really like the 0.8mm screen tho. Been getting terrific and consistent extractions using it. However, I did get a little paper cut while cleaning it, so be careful!Finally, I like the little magnet. It doesn't work very well with the 0.2mm screen (as others have pointed out), but it works great with all my other screens. No more fishing screens out of my knock box!

This is what i was looking for, I was tired of being gentle on the knock box to make sure I didnt knock out the puck screen into it. This is magnetic and makes removal of it after a shot easy as pie and clean. they are also really thin which is a nice touch and they feel great.

I really appreciate the inclusion of both a thin and a thick puck screen in this set, along with the handy magnetic removal tool and the organizational base. The super strong magnet makes removing the thicker screen incredibly easy and keeps my hands clean. However, the thin wafer screen isn't magnetic, which is a bit disappointing since I find it takes up no space at all. Cleaning is a breeze with just a daily rinse and occasional scrub. While the silicone stand is a nice thought, I don't find myself using it much, and the bigger screen sometimes gets stuck on it. Overall, despite the slightly pricey cost, the quality and thoughtful inclusions like the extra slot in the silicone holder make this a worthwhile purchase for anyone needing puck screens.
