Combined with the ADVENT rear mech, shifting is an absolute breeze. It's quick, snappy, doesn't require excessive force and it's smooth as heck. Don't assume that it's "budget" because of its pricetag and plastic casing, microSHIFT does things right and you won't regret it for sure. Super happy with my upgrade!

Positive clicky shifts without a silly display window. I wouldn't mind if the levers were a bit further apart but still very workable.

Da ich mein Gravel von Dropbar auf Flatbar umbauen wollte und vorhandene Komponenten weiterverwenden wollte, habe ich mir zum Schaltwerk, den passenden Schalthebel geholt. Angebaut, Bowdenzug reingeklemmt, etwas justiert und fertig. Funktioniert sehr gut.

If you're buying an Advent drivetrain, you have little choice of shifter to use. Fortunately, this one is the real deal. It doesn't have some of the features of more expensive shifters (like two-way release or even like a small plug for where the cable inserts into the shifter), but the paddles are large and comfortable and the shifter action is very smooth. Everyone describes the Microshift "feel" as pretty mechanical in nature and I didn't really know what that meant until using these shifters. You do get a lot of tactile feedback through the shifter and there's a pretty pronounced click with these (and a satisfying ker-klunk of the chain as it shifts across the cassette). My other drivetrains are Shimano which definitely has a softer "feel" to it. This feels solid and sturdy.

Harmoniert gut mit dem rockrider st530. Hat alles gut gepasst und geklappt beim einbauen. Kassette war eine 11-42er von microshift verbaut. Und für 22€ bester Preis.
