Whilst we often cook rice manually using cooking process handed down in the family, we do default to using a rice cooker when we need to get on with other things. This is the first time we have moved away from a traditional rice cooker, and we have had perfect rice from this each and every time we have used it. At a guess, we have probably used this over 30 times since purchase and we are all very pleased with the result. The size is also perfect allowing for additional left over rice for use the following day.Very glad to have purchased this and would easily recommend to anyone.

Good value at an affordable price (it has been reduced another $10). Due to the price and positive comments from reviewers and the internet, we took a chance on this cooker and we're glad we did; we have since purchased another two for family members. The material components, workmanship and finish is comparable to expensive brand name rice cookers that are 2 to 2.5 time more expensive; we are previous Tiger brand users. Instructions are lacking in detail, but it's not hard to figure it out via T&E. It's great for making congee, but there are limitations on adjusting the pre-programmed time setting. The inner pot has good gauge thickness and the non-stick liner appears to have wear resistance that meets or exceeds those of expensive brands. It does not have a retractable power cord, but that's a minor inconvenience. The power cord does not get warm and the cooker is well insulted. The color of the cooker is a bit misleading in the advertised photo due to glare; lid is light/med. brown (sides) and brushed chrome wrap around.

I purchased a very similar item while I resided in mainland China from the same company. I fell in love with the high-quality rice it produces. No more rice boiling bags for me. My family also noticed how much better the rice tasted. I especially liked the automatic warming cycle that kicks in once the rice is finished, so you can set it in the morning before leaving for work and it will be nice and warm when you come home. I have cooked several types of white rice, brown rice and wild rice in this unit. They all came out fluffy and well cooked. A couple of hints, watch YouTube videos for the way to achieve the best rice in a rice cooker (these are generic videos not specific to this unit). The unit disassembles easily to clean and reassembles in a snap. The paddle, spoon, and steam tray are quite useful. The main rice pot can be put right in the dishwasher.

Utilisé au quotidien pour cuire et réchauffer le riz, parfois avec des légumes dans le panier vapeur en même temps. Ne crame pas le riz comme certains autres appareils, à condition de ne pas mettre d'huile. La cuve est bien grande et ne colle pas.

Great quality and easy to use! The rice cooker comes with a user menu and a measuring cup. All you need to do is to put the right amount of rice and water, select the cooking option and then start, so two clicks! The cap and the lid inside the rice cooker can be taken apart. This design is so easy for cleaning after the cooking.
