Via Bluetooth met je smartphone verbonden, Dual Mike Wireless kan regelmatig telefoongesprekken aansturen, muziek luisteren en via de CB TALK-app, ontwikkeld door MIDLAND en gratis downloaden (momenteel meer dan 500.000 drivers hebben ze wereldwijd gedownloaden), chatten met vrienden en collega's - weer maak je verbinding met deze app - zonder afstandsbeperking.
De op het app-scherm verschijnde interface herinnert dicht bij de besturingen van de populaire "CB" radio MIDLAND ALAN 48 en de functies, ook als digitaal en gevorderden zijn, zijn ze zeer vriendelijk. De applicatieondersteuning is bij vele gelegenheden onmisbaar. Het wordt zeer gewaardeerd om geolokaliseerde "vensters" te ontsnappen, die door spraakberichten van verkeersproblemen zoals ongevallenstaarten, gesloten plaatsen, radaren, enz.
Voor het opladen biedt Midland naast de klassieke USB-kabel naar keuze een zeer comfortabel dockingstation, dat dankzij de drie verschillende meegeleverde houders overal in de cabine kan worden geplaatst en de "microfoon" met draadloze oplaadfunctie biedt.

Bought this as a test to see if it would properly key up on bluetooth on my ICOM IC-705, as I have had very mixed results with other BT headsets / speakers. This one works! Not only that but it's a very good radio mic, and the speaker is good too. I have had really good audio reports from my contacts, and the speaker is better than the built-in one on the 705. Battery life - not sure yet but it's been going all day so far, with a few contacts along the way. Pairs with ease. Good size and weighty feel for people with big hands. Finally I can chat from the sofa with a decent speaker / mic, and not having to wear headphones.Downsides: The other buttons than the PTT don't do anything on the 705, but then this is built for the CB Talk app, so it's not unexpected. Could possibly reconfigure them but haven't tried yet. The buttons are stiff to press, but you could say this is good build quality and less prone to accidental presses. Would prefer a USB-C rather than the micro USB socket for charging, but should be fine with care. The flashing light on the top is immensely bright, so I just covered it with a tiny square of black electrical tape.Well worth the cash, and the free CB Talk app is really very good too.

Ce micro est indispensable avec CB Talk, étant chauffeur routier de nuit, le temps est moins long sur cette application. La batterie est suffisante de mon côté pour tenir toute la nuit, mais doit être rechargée tous les jours.Le gros problème avec ce micro, c'est le partage de la connection bluetooth avec d'autres appareils (oreillette, autoradio etc....), ce micro a besoin d'une exclusivité sur le bluetooth est n'est vraiment pas partageur !!Ma solution pour éviter ces problèmes:Un "vieux téléphone ou tablette", avec CB Talk et le micro connecté dessus, puis un partage de connection internet avec le téléphone principal, et c'est parfait. L'avantage de ce systeme est d'économiser l'ecran de votre téléphone principal, car CB Talk ne met pas l'écran en veille, et reste allumé en permanence quand l'appli est lancée.L'investissement est vite oublié tellement l'utilisation est facile et pratique.
