Instructions aren’t as concise and thorough as they should be, tear out on the entry cut was significant regardless of the species of wood. Had to use thin hard board in front of the work piece to prevent it. Once you spend some time with this using good old trial and error the results are pretty good. The bits are much better than expected and the templates themselves, even though made from MDF, wear very well. All in all a good value but be prepared to spend some time with it. The video that came with the product was no use at all as it was advertising for other Milescraft products. There are YouTube videos that are helpful, though

I bought a jig and found the bits to be quite poor. The screws that fasten the collar that holds the bearing in place loosened and fell out allowing the bearing to move which caused the bit to ruin the template. The lock screws are microscopic and even had they included a set key, which was NOT included, would have been extremely difficult to tighten because of it's small size. Buy it and try it but beware the bits. I called customer service and still await a reply. The various directions for using the jig don't agree and the dvd is nothing more than advertising for other products. Caveat emptor.UPDATE: They sent me new bits to replace those that failed. They sent me a whole danged kit when all I needed were the bits. I have a friend who is a farmer and he built a new shop to service his BIG tractors and combines......at the same time. Indoor soccer facility for the winter? He wanted dovetail drawers in his shop bench. He only needed 8 drawers that were 12"x24"x12" deep, that's a mere 8 ft. of dovetails cut per drawer times 8 drawers. I had to make my own jigs times 2 for the 12" widths tails and pins. I'd previously never used such a jig and i was done with the new jigs and all the drawers in a couple of days. That makes this a real cheap jig..........if you have real work to do.

Super schnelle Lieferung. Die Schablone und die mitgelieferten Fräser machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck.Ausführliche Anleitung ist auch in deutscher Sprache mit dabei.Einziger Nachteil ist, daß ich für die 6,35mm Schäfte eine extra Spannzange für meine Makita OF dazu kaufen muss.
