Great product for this price

I bought this tent back in 2015 for $120. I'm 6'3" and found this tent to be perfect length, fitting myself and my pack no problem. Comfortable to sit up against my pack and read, the design could be improved on, however, if there was a spot to hang a lantern or flashlight. I lived in it for nearly 2 months Aug/Sept on hiking trails and I have also tested it out winter camping. It kept up well in the abuse, not a single tear or pole fracture. I ended up ditching the pegs on my journey and had no problems in mild wind even without them, it has a good shape so that the wind just goes right over it.It truly is a perfect camo for Canadian forests. I had stealth camped with no problems in small patches of forest in the middle of city parks and felt pretty invisible. The tent gets good ventilation and was absolutely perfect in the hot summer months, but as for my winter experience it was rather cold even with my sleeping bag rated at -30c and thermal clothes. It was a -15c degree night and I certainly did not sleep very much! If I had a thermal sleeping mat maybe it would have been doable. I would say that it is not suitable for winter, but very well suited for the summer. It keeps dry in light rain, protecting your stinky hiking boots kept outside of the inner parts of the tent but still covered by the rain fly. The only drawback, is that in more intense rainfalls water can start to pool in the triangle shaped top and leak through, but only after considerable time. Some water-proofing spray will certainly fix that, or simply put a stick across it under the rainfly. All in all its a great tent and I plan on buying it again!

La tienda la compre por su tamaño compacto,el peso de las varillas de fibra, se podria reducir, tal vez un poco mas,la calidad de los materiales es excelente,si mides mas de uno ochenta no se puede estar sentado dentro sin tocar con la cabeza en el techo,para una persona es espaciosa,hay sitio para las alforjas y tiene un pequeño porche,tres ventanas de ventilacion que puedes abrir o no a tu eleccion,se puede usar sin el doble techo,excelente mosquitera,facil montaje y desmontaje,sin varillas ni piquetas de anclaje,es muy liviana y se puede compactar mucho mas,para llevar en mochila o alforja,con las varillas aparte.Aguanta bien el agua de lluvia,probada bajo tormenta

Rapid delivery.Excellent tent. Easy up, easy down.Will add to review after it has proven itself.I have used tent now, and overall I'm quite happy with it. Waterproof quality is excellent.Ventilation is sweet too.As another review here stated, if you keep the door fully open during rainfall, water drips into the tent. This is overcome by leaving just a third of the door unzipped. Not a problem for me at all.I'm looking at adding a piece of fairly stiff plastic/strimmer wire to the drip zone area above the door, forcing tent material into a gutter shape. That should fix the run-off issue.I added an elasticated loop inside to attach a light.The low profile is great. Adding a camo net makes it invisible.I dug out a bit of a hole in the ground, under the tent, close to the side wall, which allows me to sit up inside....I'm 5'6" and only need a couple of extra inches clearance.There's plenty of space for kit pack and boots etc inside. Plus the porch for gas etc.A Well designed tent that just needs a couple of design tweaks.I'd have no problem recommending this tent for solo campers.

Bin vom Zelt in den Erwartungen bestätigt. Es ist schnell aufzubauen (ca. 15 Minuten) und bietet guten Schutz gegen Wind und Nässe (bei Regen habe ich es jedoch noch nicht ausprobiert). Als Ein-Personen-Zelt bietet es auf jeden Fall noch viel Stauraum im Fußbereich und an den Seiten (abgesehen vom überdachten Vorbereich). Wenn man es das Gepäck draußen hält, können im Zelt problemlos ein Erwachsener und ein Kind schlafen. Wenn man es dazu noch straff aufspannt, gehen sich auch zwei Erwachsene aus (die dann aber nichts gegen allzu große körperliche Nähe haben sollten). Sehr sinnvoll sind die vorne und hinten angebrachten Lüftungsöffnungen (die sich bei Bedarf per Klettverschluss auch verschließen lassen), welche durch ein Moskitonetz abgeschirmt sind. Das im Laufe der Nacht Feuchtigkeit innen kondensiert, lässt sich auch mit diesem Zelt nicht völlig verhindern, wird aber doch merklich reduziert. In warmen Sommernächten ist man dann über die integrierte aus den Öffnungen resultierende Lüftung sehr froh.Was mir eventuell noch gefehlt hätte wäre eine Schlaufe an der Decke für eine Laterne (ich hab sie dann seitlich mit einem kleinen Karabiner am Reißverschlusszug eingehängt, hat auch gut funktioniert) und vielleicht ein an den Wänden eingenähtes Fach für persönliche Gegenstände, die man in der Nacht brauchen könnte.Ansonsten bin ich mir dem Zelt überaus zufrieden.PS: Vielleicht noch eine Kleinigkeit zu meinem konkreten Modell (multitarn) bezüglich der Tarnqualität. Ich war anfangs unschlüssig, welche Farbe ich nehmen sollte, da ich das Zelt einerseits zu jeder Jahreszeit verwenden wollte, anderseits mir schien, dass multitarn nicht so gut während der einzelnen Jahreszeiten funktionieren würde, wie andere Modelle. Meine Bedenken wurden im Praxistest entkräftet. Ich habe das Zelt im Frühling in einem Nadel-Laub-Mischwald verwendet (es sah recht herbstlich aus. Auch wenn ich davon ausging, dass diese Multitarnvariation vor allem im Winter glänzen würde, war die Tarnwirkung inmitten frühlingshafter und herbstlicher Kulisse mit rötlich-bräunlichem Laub am Boden und grünen Blättern an den Bäumen überzeugend. Nach einem Ausflug hatte ich anfängliche Schwierigkeiten das Zelt bei einer Entfernung von ca. 30 Metern zu sichten. Gefunden habe ich es dann doch weil ich mir den Weg gemerkt habe, wusste wonach ich suche und nicht wegen der Sichtbarkeit an sich. Multitarn ist daher tatsächlich eine funktionierende Lösung für alle Jahreszeiten, für jene, für die Tarnung eine Rolle spielt.
