Needed to solder wire between Antenna ground connector and PCB ground in the power feed box in order to get voltage on the antenna connector.Seemed to work after that

Nicely packaged, looks of reasonable quality, but totally dead on arrival. Performed worse than a foot of wire.

The antenna does not work. Even with an extra counterpoise (refer to many articles and videos on mini whip antennas), signal strength increases only barely. Supplying or not supplying DC voltage barely makes a difference. Only RF noise increases. Having the main part of the antenna either connected or not connected to the powered module makes no difference to signal strength. All that happens is that the receiver overloads immediately. I returned the antenna and quickly received a refund from Amazon.

I recently ordered this mini whip antenna and it came to me very quickly 3 days later. I unboxed it and seemly it was in very good condition. I wired it up correctly using the bias-T connector and connected it to my RTL SDR Stick v5. As I installed and tested it, I noticed that the antenna is obviously not receiving any signals. Even not very strong ones. I tested it with another antenna and it worked fine. I suggest, the internals of the antenna are defective right of the factory. I hope that defective antennas, which are send back, not being sold to consumers again.

Ich hatte mich sehr auf diese Antenne gefreut aber die funktioniert leider überhaupt nicht wie ich jetzt mitbekommen habe wohl leider kein Einzelfall
