Hay que echar un muy buen rato rellenando el muñeco, ahí entra trapo… pero una vez relleno la verdad que está genial

After receiving this practice dummy, I realized it came unfilled, which required reasearch to figure out what I should fill it with. With advice from a buddy, I filled it with a combination of rubber woodchips, pillow stuffing, and old clothes to reach an approx 80lb weight. The material is smooth yet durable, allowing me to perform various techniques without discomfort or worry about damage. It seems like a tough canvas aterial coated in vinyl.During my training sessions, I found the dummy to be an invaluable tool. Whether practicing side control, transitions, or throws, it provided the weight and resistance necessary to simulate real-life scenarios effectively. Its size and durability made it suitable for repeated use, and the straightforward cleaning process ensured hygiene and longevity.Having this dummy lets me train at home on days I can't make it to open mat/class. The stitches held strong even under intense pressure, further reinforcing its quality construction. The position is similar to a "lazy open guard". Essentially the feet are up like the dummy is doing crunches, and the arms are in a position perfect for training s-mount and arm bars.Overall, despite the initial challenge of filling it, this practice dummy has become an essential part of my martial arts training regimen. It offers a safe and effective means of repetition and refinement, helping me improve my skills while minimizing the risk of harm.

This is a very solid dummy, it comes folded in a storage bag. You'll have to fill it yourself, which can be a challenge since you have a chance to make the weight and hardness perfect for you, but it's a big dummy so will take a lot of filling. I think that part will be trial and error, I've roughly filled it up with polyfill and old clothes and sheets around the house, but can tell I want to put more in, since the dummy still has some give. Packing the dummy will take quite long, and be a workout in itself hah. Once the dummy is roughly filled, it makes an impressive practice opponent. Having something roughly your size and human shape makes it far easier to visualize and practice techniques. This is another reason to pay attention to stuffing, I think a heavier bag could make this great strength training too.The outer material is smooth and a great texture, that gives you grip but doesn't have the risk of painful skin burns or scratches. It's waterproof so you can wipe it down after sweaty workouts. The seams and material feel quite strong, that even with rough practice, you don't feel any danger of it ripping or giving way. It's a very sturdy dummy, and the human shape makes precise training much easier to do. Overall, the quality and build of this dummy is very satisfactory, and as long as you get the filling right, it will make an effective training tool. Highly recommend for anyone training

As the title and ad point out, this is an unfilled dummy. Make sure you understand that AND have a plan for how you're going to fill it before buying. I had a bunch of old t-shirts and old clothes that I was told would work pretty well and I'll just say, it took a lot. It still wasnt' very full so I bought pillow stuffing but I had to get the 25 lb box of the stuff to get it dense enough to really make it start to feel good.If you're using this for BJJ, you're going to be practicing side control, transitions, mount etc with this so you need it to have some weight. I think it needs to weigh upwards of 50 lbs before you really can use it to feel right and If you're practicing throws with it you'll need a lot more weight. Sand/beanbags are probably your best bet.Stuffing issues aside, the material is both smooth and durable. You can slide and rub up against it and it's smooth enough you're not going to constantly get caught on it but the skin has a little resistance to it. You can load this up with quite a bit of weight (sand) and the material is strong enough to support it although I used sand, pillow stuffing and some old t-shirts. It weighs 68 lbs stuffed and I've been throwing it, landing on it, knee on belly transitions and the works for over a week now and it's holding up quite well. The material is also quite strong so I expect to get quite a bit of mileage out of it.Lastly, the material is such that it's really easy to clean. You can really work up a sweat on these and that's a nightmare for skin irritation and infections if it's not kept very clean. You can get some vinegar or all natural cleaner, wipe it down and disinfect really quickly and you're good to go.Like I said in the title, just make sure you have thought through how you're going to fill it and you'll very likely be quite pleased.

Practicing positions for my class in martial arts, I've found that I needed a practice dummy to help bring strength and develop my moves. Wanting to make sure I can defend myself as well as appreciate the sport further after the lessons, I found the practice dummy to be a great way to repeat and reflect on how to move. Using the practice dummy instead of a human partner allows me to focus as I understand and develop the techniques I need to learn. It also is the size of a human opponent so I could actually understand the pressure points and need to quickly engage the lesson for each movementThe practice dummy took a little bit of time to fill up Once I figured that part out (and the instructions help considerably) I was able to get started working on my actions and practicing. The item is well made and holds strong, no matter how much pressure is exerted during the move. The outside of the item is rather smooth and the stitches are straight and durable.Overall, this is a durable item that's help me with my Martial Arts class. It's a great way to practice at home as the moves learned in class need to be repeated for perfection. Plus I don't have to worry about hurting anyone as this practice dummy offers me a chance to do it over and over until I get the move perfect.
