When I broke the back camera lens on my old but much loved iphone SE2 I thought it was toast. Can’t live without a camera!I looked up replacement lenses and found so many options as well as bad reviews, my hopes of repairing it seemed doomed! But I took a shot at an admittedly random choice. It turned out GREAT - with some caveats!The only difficulty I encountered was removing the broken glass. It’s strong and well glued in place. The plastic tweezers that came with the product were junk and broke immediately as I tried using it to pry out the glass with them. I used a metal tweezers instead and this worked up to a point, but left a lot of glass on the bezel where the new glass adhesive would have to adhere. I then used the point of a utility knife blade and a little hammer (actually a small pliers) to chip out the remaining glass. Once I got the surface clean, the new lens went in perfectly after removing the tan release paper ring on the sticky side. Don’t forget to clean up the glass dust that will be on the gluing surface and the internal lens. I used Rodico and an ear syringe as a blower.So this wouldn’t exactly be a walk in the park for the average person but if you’re at all handy, you can do this! The difficulties I encountered with this repair had nothing to do with the product. It worked perfectly. As with any job, skill is the secret ingredient in success. Good luck!
