I am so happy with this bird bath! It's so important to provide birds with clean drinking/bathing water along with food.I had a cheap bird bath on a chain, hanging from a washing line and it worked well....until the wind picked up and the chains snapped.I had been looking for a new bird bath when I got offered this one and I was so pleased!I put it out in the garden and I've put water in the top and bottom trays as I already have several hanging feeders available for the birds. I came back into the house and almost immediately watched two House Sparrows have a drink, which made me so happy ❤️It was easy to build but feels sturdy. It went into the grass with no issue and feels secure, I don't think it'll topple over. I might get my other half to try to push it in the ground a bit more though.There is plenty of space for multiple birds to drink/bathe - the Starlings tended to bully the smaller birds away from the hanging bird bath I was using but I think with this one they'll all be able to get a drink.I also like the colour and the design, with the sunflower and butterfly.

🐦This set includes two metal bowls: the upper one is 30.5cm across and 5cm deep, and the lower one is 20cm wide and 4cm deep. I use the upper bowl for seed and the lower either for water or left empty to catch stray seed. It looks quite attractive, with a decorative antique bronze finish and sunflower and butterfly detailing that blends well with most garden settings. The bowls lift off easily for cleaning although assembly attaches them together, and the surfaces rinse clean with little effort. That’s important to me as I clean regularly to reduce the risk of issues like Usutu virus, which can affect blackbirds especially.🛠 The most effective part of this setup is the 5-pronged stake. It goes deep into the soil and keeps the stand stable in wind and rain. I've had it in place through several downpours and blustery conditions without movement or tipping, which is reassuring as seed spillage can waste a lot and attract pests. The height is well-judged too—elevated enough to discourage pheasants and some ground-level foragers, but not too tall to make topping up the bowls awkward. There will always be some food dropped, but that suits robins, blackbirds, and thrushes, which don’t always use traditional hanging feeders.🔧 It arrived well packaged, with every piece individually bubble-wrapped. It took less than five minutes to get it installed, and most of that time was spent removing the wrapping. One Allen screw secures the central section, and the rest twists together by hand. Once in the ground, it felt stable. The bowls come off without trouble, which makes it easy to clean or refill.💧 Bird activity started almost immediately once seed was added. The elevated design seems to give birds some confidence, and the spacing allows several to feed at once. However, as the seed tray is above the water bowl, food does tend to drop into the water, as birds feed messily. It’s worth being aware that this might increase the cleaning required, or you can simply leave the lower bowl empty to catch dropped seed instead. One drawback I’ve found is that the upper tray doesn’t have a drain hole. If it rains heavily, water collects and spoils the food, so I may drill a hole myself to help avoid this.🐦 Overall, the feeder is sturdy and well-balanced with a strong ground fixing. Even the lack of an upper tray drain hole oes not detract from how please i am with it and I think 5 stars is deserved.✔️
