Great stuff works well & enhances my paintings

I make hand painted wooden gift tags to sell at craft fairs and I like to have a bit of shimmer on the finished tags.I had been happily using "folk art sparkle varnish" but it has been showing as "currently unavailable" on amazon for ages so I tried one by Pebeo because the product description seemed identical. It was rubbish. No shimmery finish even after three coats.Then I found this glitter finish and....Success!!!This product is made by Plaid Enterprises Inc.and I discovered that Plaid are the makers of the folk art sparkle varnish I had been trying to find again!I had assumed folk art was the maker. If I had looked closer at the label I would have seen the PLAID logo on it!!!!!So this review is for anyone else who is looking for a new version of the Plaid Folk Art Sparkle varnish.This "Mod Podge" is exactly the same as the product I loved so much.It goes on white, but dries clear and leaves a lovely shimmer.The difference is it comes in a big pot with a wide top which makes it easier to use with a wide brush than the old product's little pot.Much more user friendly.As with the unavailable old product, this works best with a couple of thin coats rather than one thick coat.A thick coat can leave the surface tacky which can end up with the gift tags sticking together if they are kept in a bag.I am so pleased to have found this and I can recommend it highly.

Lo amé, la consistencia es como si fuera resistol 850 con pedacitos de glitter chiquito. Lo puedes aplicar en donde sea (que no vayas a mojar porque repito que es como resistol y se caeria) no tarda en secar y puedes aplicar todas las capas que quieras para tener más glitter. Es perfecto en manualidades, juguetes, para ponerle encima a las pinturas, esculturas,rompecabezas...todo lo que quieras que tenga brillo.
