I wish more modern cell phones provided an attachment point for a lanyard. Maybe they don’t, because it wouldn’t look as sleek. I considered ways to add a lanyard, which is especially needed when we go hiking. The best Idea I came up with is to attach the lanyard to the cell phone’s external case, but without any modification of the phone. Luckily, somebody already had the same idea. So here, MoKo made a very inexpensive but secure tether. It is simply a small sheet of polyester fabric that has a rotating D-ring crimped on one side. To install it, place it on the back of your cell phone with the shackle end hanging out. Then press the external case onto the phone. Correct the alignment before pressing the case down fully. Attach your own lanyard.I was surprised that the tiny sheet of polyester is so rigid and resistant against folding. I found out by tugging on the D-ring while trying to reposition the tab. I applied about 5-7 pounds of force, and it held without any problems. The 2-pack allowed me to install tabs on my phone and my wife’s. Now we don’t worry that we’ll drop our phones anymore.
