We can’t use this for my grand daughter because it makes her go backwards in the water. Which that in turn scares her and she flips herself over.

With adult supervision this works great for the Littles. Builds confidence to teach basic kicks and paddling while the adults/big kids have some reassurance.**Don't leave small kids unattended in a pool!

So we got this product after using the Speedo version. This was a little smaller and have the between the legs straps so we felt it would be a little safer. Boy were we wrong. It kept flipping him under water instead of keeping him up floating! We went back to the speedo brand because even though it’s a little big it keeps him floating with his head out of the water.

Ordered this due to reviews being great. This is not true to size - it was sliding off my 2 year old constantly at the pool, and no matter how tight I made the straps it would still fall. The arm pieces are cheap foam, not a good or safe quality float.
