First time that I buy a product on Amazon that simply does not function at all. Does not charge any Apple device.

Any older apple stuff would want for a lightning connection, and this is a quick and easy way to get it.I have tons of type-C lying around now, but I always seem to lack the right cable for the iPhones I find myself repairing for friends and family from time to time. I'm a mostly android user myself, so it's the one connector without a natural place at my side.Anyhow, they do essentially what they say, I don't have any means of testing the power claims, but they do connect for data and are properly bidirectional in how you can insert them - on either end.They came well packed, and if you care to do so for protection, they even have a plastic cover for the lightning end - helpful, given how flimsy that connector naturally is.Gave some new life to old USB-C cables, and now I don't have to worry about being properly equipped to handle Apple devices when friends or family need repair done!While my issue is simply that I have little use for Apple-compatible connection outside that, I can certainly see these proving useful for someone who's still transitioning between Apple's lightning devices and its type C ones. The adapters do the job and seem to be of adequate quality. The included lanyards were so flimsy, the broke before I managed to attach them.
