nice little unit easy to install very stong magnetI did see someone mention that one of the screw attachment parts was hard to remove and they said it was to do with the magnet strength but the part is actually threaded in to the unit so just need unthreading

Very neat, and high quality finish.Came with all the bits needed to mount, so easy to get installed.Mounted it on a stair gate to stop the dogs from being able to open it, worked a treat.The strength seems to be adjustable by removing some magnets which is handy.Can't fault it, top quality.

Well made stainless steel with a powerful magnet. It seems sturdy. I used self-tapper screws into the conservatory door and M5 nuts and bolts on steel square section bar sunk into patio.

This is a lovely-looking piece of kit. I was very pleased when I opened the packaging. However, there were no instructions (not a real problem as I have used something similar). The problems started when I tried to screw the base on the wall mounting. First, the mounting crew is too long for the depth of the receptacle on the base. Once it bottomed out you are left with a 1-2 mm gap between the base and the wall. As you try to screw it down so the base rests on the wall, the wall mounting plate is too thin and weak to hold the mounting screw in place, it strips out and then just spins leaving you with the 1-2 mm gap. At this point, you can't get the base either on or off. Nearly had to resort to the angle grinder to remove it from the wall. I wonder if the manufacturer actually ever attempted to install it themselves.

Used on fire doors and holds well! Discreet and modern!
