The quality of the packaging, pouch and iems themselves is amazing. It feels more like it is a $60 to$100 product. The sound quality is also very very good, easily on par or probably better than my old hyperx cloud 2 headset. For 20 bucks this is a no brainer, the only downside is that while unboxing they really and i mean REALLY smelled like chemicals, enough to make my whole room smell. The smell does go away after a while but i would advise you to be near an open window. I have not seen anybody else say something about the smell so maybe it was just my pair.

Na een maand kon ik het geluid minder goed horen en dat kwam doordat de filters die erin zaten te nat waren, dus je moet oppassen dat je voor dat je deze op doet goed je oren droog maakt. Moest nieuwe filters kopen voor 4 euro, maar nu doen ze het weer goed

We worden allemaal gefopt door veel te dure koptelefoons/IEM'S.Wanneer een merk als Moondrop het voor mekaar krijgt voor zo'n prijs een product te maken met zo'n klant en bouw vraag ik mezelf af waarom ik dan toch vaak het tienvoudige of meer betaal voor vergelijkbare geluidskwaliteit.In het kort:-Bouw-prima. Voelt solide. Fijne kabel. (deze is te vervangen)-Geluidskwaliteit: Gewoon kopen want voor dat geld koop je niks beters waarschijnlijks.

I have a lot of IEM’s (about 25) ranging fro 17,- euro up to 599,- euro.These IEM’s sound absolutely amazing. The treble is not harsh or fatiguing and the bass is just right. I use them daily now, especially before I go to sleep. At this moment I only use the Chu 2 and my HiFiMan re800. All my other IEM’s are currently not in use. In my opinion these earphones sound like they cost between 80,- and 120,- euro or even more, sounding better then my KZ PR1 Pro, Hidisz MS2 and Hidisz MS3 that cost about 5 times more than the Chu 2.I strongly recommend the Chu 2, no need to buy more expensive earphones. In my opinion the best IEM of 2023.

Great sound for the price.

The sound is great for the price, and I'm amazed at how much I got for such a low cost. However, I had to buy a replacement cable, and you can read about my reason for doing so below:The cable is absolutely terrible—it’s actually dangerous. After just an hour of use, the skin started to react, and I developed a rash that oozed pus. I had to wait three weeks for the sores to heal. At one point, I took that cable and threw it in the trash. I ended up purchasing a new one. I understand that these headphones are meant to be affordable, and I may be part of a small minority who experienced this issue. However, Moondrop could definitely pay more attention to user safety

Sound is very good for the price, highest frequencies are just a minor bit too loud.After 3 weeks volume on the right side got lower. Lots of testing...it appears to be due to the filter. 'Cleaning' the filter works...for up to a minute or 20, then unbalanced again. Bizarre. Poor design and QA. (Sound without filter is too shrill as if EQ is missing and of course unprotected drivers not good.) In all this testing, in the end the rubber bud tore apart. Time to return them. Moondrop very disappointing.Edit: Amazon customer service made for an easy refund, thanks.

Die MOONDROP CHU II wurden mir durch Crinacle empfohlen, und ich wurde definitiv nicht enttäuscht! Der Klang ist äußerst neutral, was sie perfekt für audiophiles Hören und EQ-Anpassungen macht. Wer gerne seinen Sound individuell abstimmt, bekommt hier eine ideale Grundlage mit viel Raum für Feintuning.Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist überraschend hochwertig für diesen niedrigen Preis. Das Design ist schlicht und elegant. Auch der Tragekomfort überzeugt – angenehm leicht und perfekt für längere Sessions.Fazit: Wer einen neutralen, detailreichen Klang sucht und mit EQ arbeitet, wird die CHU II lieben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Very well tuned and an overall improvement from the first generation chu, to my ears.Moondrop has bumped the bass and smoothed out the treble, resolving the slightly metallic timbre of the first gen chu. I never had an issue with the amount of bass on the originals, but a lot of people did, this should fix that.These are now what I would describe as a slightly v-shaped sound signature, but it certainly still manages to remain articulate and engaging, very fun!Vocals are still a strong point, albeit maybe very slightly recessed compared to other Moondrop products (non issue), bass and slam is well controlled and treble has nice sparkle.No more spring tips included, just the standard Moondrop tips, and the nozzle now screws off allowing you to easily replace the filter. Moondrop filters are known to clog up with condensation/moisture resulting in channel imbalance, but I have yet to have this issue with any of my Moondrop iems, maybe I’m just lucky, maybe it’s worse in humid climates.If you do encounter this issue I believe either sucking on it lightly (seriously) or replacing/cleaning the filter will work to fix it for the time being.They also fit great in the ear. Like the chu 1, they’re small and don’t interfere, but don’t sit as flat as something like the Aria would.Remember, these are less than $30, have removable cables (a nice one too, imo), sound good. They make a great gift, too.

Auriculares muy muy buenos para su precio. Aviso a navegantes: los que tienen problemas con que un auricular se escuche más alto que el otro, es porque el filtro de papel que evita que entre cera en el propio auricular se deteriora con el tiempo.Se puede desenroscar la punta, empujar la rejilla de la tapa para o bien sustituirlo o bien cambiarlo por una bolita de algodón que hace la misma función. No tiréis los auriculares a la basura por esto, siguen estando bien, pero hay partes que hay que ir renovando con el uso.Que los disfrutéis!!

Holy Decibels.. just.. just buy them.. you want sound quality that usually costs $180-$250+? Don't go to Sennheiser.. don't go to Bose.. don't go to Beats.. don't go to any other brand.. if you're going to spend money on wired earbuds (IEMs specifically).. let it be these, I promise you it's more than worth the $25.These should genuinely cost $100+.. the fact that such amazing hardware and audio quality is available for such a low price, you shouldn't be looking anywhere else for what these can offer. These Moondrop Chu II IEMs will blow you away, I cannot describe how fantastic these sound, the price is worth finding out for yourself.Also I had to look up how to install the eartips so here's what someone on YouTube showed me:Flip the eartips inside out so the little tube that sits over the earpiece is poking out like an outie belly button. Work it overtop the metal earpiece nub and gently but firmly push it on at an angle. This is the best I can describe it through this review, so if you need more help, YouTube does exist.Also the wire is a 3.5mm audio jack, so unless you have a phone with a 3.5mm audio port, get yourself a good quality 3.5mm audio jack to USB-C/Lightning adapter.If you're an audiophile (new to the game like me), and you want to step up your audio listening experience, definitely get these. I'll be upgrading to a decent quality DAC in a month or two, so I'll come back and update how that pairs with these IEMs.In the meantime, peace out and vibe on ✌️🤙
