I have a metal bed frame (10 inch) that I wanted to hide. I don't like the typcial bed skirts as they don't stay put, never hang quite right, and rarely are the perfect length (too long or too short). Even though this is sold as a box spring cover, I used it to hide the metal bed frame. I LOVE it! We don't have a box spring. Instead, our mattress sits on a booker board, which sits on top of the bed frame. I even have a headboard attached to the frame. I simply unscrewed the headboard from the fame, placed the cover/wrap around the metal frame, and screwed the hardware back into the head board through the fabric. I didn't even have to cut holes the in fabric for the hardware. I also thought the fabric would be too sheer, but it' not. Wish I would have invented this.

I recently purchased a new Serta Hybrid Mattress and 9-inch Foundation. (I prefer my bed to be high off the ground vs low). The foundation was a dark blue which I really liked since I had just come from your boring typical off-white colors. To also provide as much support/firmness under the hybrid mattress I also picked up some vertical slats to lay on top of the foundation. Not that I have bedbugs or any issue, I decided to encase my foundation mattresses for protection and to keep the foundation together tightly with the vertical slats and to prevent any movement. Unfortunately, all of the encasements are pretty much white and I hate that. With my bed frame, I can not use a mattress skirt to cover it up..I didn't even know these existed and after some searching, they popped up in my results. I was worried about some of the reviews stating that the King Size wouldn't fit. I did like the idea of it being one piece to keep both split twin size foundations together.. At this price point, I decided to go for it and I am very pleased with the outcome. I did order two just in case the one would not fit at all.I will say, the cover does require some pulling/stretching but it will work. Just make sure the tag is either at the head or foot of the bed before you being.. Don't pull on the straps, just pull the cover itself. Mine did not rip at all It perfectly covered my 9-inch foundation with the vertical slats and encasements. Thanks!!!! Now I have an extra that I will keep if anything happens to the first one.

This was harder than expected to get stretched properly onto a king size frame. One of the elastics snapped, but I was still able to make it work. Looks good once it’s on, but I recommend two people do the task.
