After years of punctures and issues fitting pneumatic tyres I decided to fit a solid tyre. Best decision ever!I was nervous that the ride would be harsh but honestly I can’t tell any difference.I purchased 3 different pneumatic tyres and spent weeks trying to get the bead seated correctly. Car tyre places, Halfords, bike shops and scooter shops with a no luck. I ended up buying my own compressor and even at 110psi it still wouldn’t mount. Finally I admitted defeat and chose this product.I thought the solid would be a nightmare but it took 2 minutes with the correct tools and 2 people.Boil your tyre for 15 mins before trying to fit. It stinks when you do this so do it in a well ventilated area.You *MUST* use tyre irons. The manual suggests their own brand “Hercules” irons, but you can find allmost identical irons on Amazon for cheaper. They are slightly sharp in places but work fine.The hardest past is getting the tyre on the rim but with 2 people it’s pretty easy. Lube up the rim of the tyre with plenty dish soap. I just rubbed it on with my fingers. Place the tyre on the ground (carpeted area works best) and place the when on top. Use your knees or hold the wheel down while you and another person pry the tyre on.Once the tyre is mounted you need to seat the bead by manipulating the tyre with the irons. I thought this would be the hardest part but it turned out to be very easy and the bead pushed into place with no effort. The tyre is still warm which helps.Great product and I shall do the rear when I get a chance.

Es duradero, práctico y te olvidas del mantenimiento. No es la rueda más cómoda del mundo, pero cumple con lo prometido y te da tranquilidad en el día a día.
