My goal is to make the holidays feel like going back in time for my students. I want them to experience the things that I did in the 80s. So, I found this old ad which is meant to have cotton balls glued to the beard for the countdown. I want to reuse it every year, so I sought out magnets that would be festive and serve that purpose. These were perfect! They’re the right size, and they’re just so fun. Once a German exchange student came to our school and talked about advent calendars, my students noticed this more. They wanted to start adding the magnets themselves. I like the case they came in too! Makes it easier for me to store until next Christmas.
