It does not fold away.You need space for this.But it's solid, it will last, and it will take the weight of a 40 year old woman who rather likes chocolate cake.So if you have space I'd say it's worth it.

We put it up outside, it is very sturdy, very durable, easy to use, very easy to put together, I did it by myself and I’m a single mom. Only took about 10-15 minutes. Very easy to raise and lower the bar, overall great bar for kids in my opinion. My daughter got it for Christmas and loves it. I will say that you need a mat underneath it though, I feel more comfortable putting one under the bar incase she falls so we bought one separately.
