This MOSISO case is a major step up from the typical hardshell covers. Designed specifically for recent MacBook Pro 16-inch models (including the M1 to M4 series), it combines a soft TPU bumper with a matte plastic shell, offering much more than just scratch protection. It is genuinely better shock-resistant and feels far more durable.Having used MOSISO’s older hardshell version, which cracked within a month of normal use, I can confidently say this updated version is tougher and much more pleasant to handle. The anti-fingerprint coating helps it stay looking clean, and the black finish looks great, especially paired with a silver MacBook.Fitment is spot on. It snaps on securely and leaves all ports and the fingerprint sensor fully accessible. The package also includes a keyboard cover (a bit thick and slightly dampens the backlight), a screen protector, and two USB-C to USB-A adapters, a surprisingly useful addition.There’s little to complain about here. The only downside is the keyboard cover’s feel, it gives a slightly spongy typing experience. But overall, for the price and protection on offer, this is a well-rounded, smart-looking case I’d recommend over MOSISO’s basic hardshell any day.

This item is good on its own, but it comes with extras that make it good value.I keep my Macbook protected to make sure I get good trade in price if nothing else, and my previous clam shell was getting tired. This was a welcome replacement, and the smokey dark look suited my laptiop and it did look sleek.Good feel, with plenty of grip and not to prone to fingerprints.Extras.Screen protector. I don't use this, but if you do, there is one included.Keyboard overlay (or Keyboard condom as I have nicknamed them) - useful. I always use one to prevent keycap wear and because I once destroyed a laptop knocking a glass of wine over onto the keyboard. While it was clearly marked (my others were completely transparent) so it looks nicer, it did prevent nighttime backlight visibilty, and it is thicker than I am used to, giving the keyboard a squishy feel. It's nice to have in reserve though.Two USB A to C convertors. I wasn't expecting these, but they are useful.

As recommended by the seller I double checked the model number and it was a match. And this was proven by the fact that it fits perfectly. It is really light yet will protect the laptop and it looks really nice even though it is just plain black.Everything that needs to be accessible is, such as USB ports and the finger sensor.The keyboard cover is great and there are no signs of the machine overheating, in fact the temperature doesn't seem to have changed at all.This is a really good cover at a reasonable price. Nothing not to like.

The overall quality for the shell case is pretty good and the same goes for the other included items such as the keyboard cover. It clips on pretty securely and allows the original colour of the MacBook to show through. Visually it okay and will provide the needed scratch protection etc when storing the MAcBook in a backpack etc. Overall, a decent shell case.
