I started learning how to make home made soaps. The lady who taught me has a few molds, but most weren't super exciting. Mostly just loaf pans and round plain discs.I wanted to thank her for her mentoring me in this new skill by getting her a few new molds. When this arrived I immediately knew I'd picked the right one.The detail on this is gorgeous. It's going to be so much fun giving it to her because she will go crazy with is. She's been making soap for friends, family and even kids. They get so excited when they see her and ask if they can have one of the soaps she's made.This will be the perfect addition to her collection and a beautiful design to give out for wedding favors, thank you gifts etc.I may have to borrow it back from her on occassion to make some for myself!(update-I gave it to her and she used it that very day when making soap with her niece. It turned out so cute. I may have to get another one just for me)The thing I noticed about this one verses others I have used, is that the design itself is very stable. The cups don't bow out. Some molds are flimsy so you have to be so careful when moving them or filling them to keep your shape.But I pulled on these, shook them etc and the cups stayed the same shape. Great news!I also like the depth of them. Some molds are too thin to make soap very well. They are more for fondant only.But these will definitely be a good size for a bar of soap.Super excited about this. My only wish is that it was a 2-pack!

The molds are made very nicely. The silicone is very easy to use. I am actually using the mold for making wax tarts for my melting pot-- and it works great. The mold did not react to the heated wax-- or deform in any way (cheaper ones tend to not do well with temp changes). The wax popped right out-- and the mold was ready to be used again.The mold washes off well-- no discoloring-- and each mold comes out perfectly!Very pleased!
