Took a risk and bought it after reading the reviews that predominantly mentioned that its that horrid tan plastic color and that it doesn't have a removable end cap. However those reviews must be out of date as the one I received was black, and has a removable end cap.It fits a 2023 stock carb/cabled DRZ400s, no modification was needed.

Amazon confirmed fit said it would not fit but after researching the item it was the correct part and worked like a charm on a 2013 DR650. It comes with an end cap that pops off so you can reinstall the handlebar weights

It does fit a 2019 dr650, and it has a removable cap, no drilling required, drop in replacement
