Installationsmethode:
Es erfordert das Entfernen der Eckplastik-Trittplatte. Dann muss etwa 1 "des verbleibenden Kunststoffs mit Drahtschneidern vom Kabelende abgeschnitten werden. Schieben Sie ihn über das Kabelende, ziehen Sie die 2 Stellschrauben fest, setzen Sie die Eckplastik-Kickplatte wieder ein, und Sie sind fertig.

Cold weather broke my original on a 2004 civic. Fairly simple install with a dremel to remove the old factory and clamp this one on. Years later and this product still works.

Simple to fit, once you've removed plastic from original cable, try not to over-tighten the small screws, better than the plastic lever that was on the car.

After fighting getting the old plastic from the OEM latch off the cable, it was easy to install and I no longer have to worry about breaking it. *UPDATE* Fair warning, if you have an aftermarket cable it might not have as much metal underneath the plastic latch for this to grab. Recently replaced my cable and I had to extend it to continue using this latch. If you replace your cable don't waste your time breaking off the plastic to attach this like I did and then have to modify it
