Ik had goede hoop dat het google find my device network werkte, helaas werkt het alleen in huis. De "smart" tag ben ik buitenshuis verloren, maar die vind ik nu dus nooit meer terug...

Muy buena localización. Además a nivel global. Se puede localizar con Google maps. Lo único que la batería no dura mucho, aunque me da que es más un fallo de software o de calibración de la pila, porque puede estar así muchos meses.

Locatie is nooit heel precies aangezien je de locatie krijgt vanwaar een signaal opgepikt werd. Dat is dus maar ergens in de buurt van je tag.Batterij zou 1 jaar meegaan maar ik krijg na 3 weken al de melding dat de batterij ver leeg zou zijn.

If you pick this because you have seen ultra-wideband working on an Apple AirTag, you’re going to be disappointed. Although the Moto Tag had an UWB radio (allegedly), it doesn’t seem to be operational, do you don’t get that directional nearby tracking that you might have expected. You just get the same Bluetooth non-directional (“warmer”, “colder”) tracking that every other tracking tag gives you. I don’t know if this is a Google limitation or a Moto limitation, but whichever it it, it doesn’t work. Since this is one of the headline advertised features of this tag, it is borderline deceptive. If that changes, I’ll come back to update this review.On the positive side, the AirTag compatible form factor is nice. They fit pretty well into any AirTag accessories that I have tried. The pairing experience is as good as the AirTag.Experimentally, the Google Find My network seems to work reasonably well. In a head-to-head test between an AirTag, the Moto Tag, a Samsung Tag and a Tile, the AirTag definitely beat out the others, but the Moto Tag came in a respectable second. I was surprised: while I fully expected the AirTag to win, I thought the Samsung Tag would come second, but it didn’t…not even close.So not as good as AirTags, but if you’re in the Android universe AirTags aren’t an option. If UWB eventually gets enabled, they will be a respectable Android alternative.
