I have used the geared motor to turn a variable capacitor for a loop antenna. The motor is rated at 12V but still works with 1V or even less which enables it to be positioned very accurately.There is some noise from the motor as is to be expected but it seems happy enough when turning in either direction.

Grundsolides Produkt in massivem Alu-Spritzgußgehäuse, arbeitet kaum hörbar leise und EXTREM kraftvoll in beide Drehrichtungen. Schon beim Anlegen einer Spannung von 3V= entwickelt das Teil eine derartige Kraft, daß ein Festhalten der Zapfwelle per Hand nicht mehr möglich ist! Dabei werden gerade mal zwischen 0,3 und 0,4 A gezogen, also auch noch energieeffizient, was sich bei Batteriebetrieb auszahlt. Die Betriebsspannung läßt sich aber sogar ab ≤ 1V (!) bis 12V wählen, wobei die Zapfwelle bei 1V ca. 1,6 U/min absolviert, bei 3V sind es ca. 4,5 U/min (Werte selbst gemessen, bei 12V sind es lt. Hersteller 20 U/min). Der Einsatzbereich dieses Aggregats ist also riesig. - Übrigens: der Getriebeblock ist mit einer abschraubbaren Deckplatte verschlossen, das Gerät ist also wartbar. Technik, die begeistert - volle Punktzahl!
